raven’s table

A Shadow Work Supper Club

Welcome. You’ve found The Raven’s Coven.
This has been a secret table — quietly held and passed through trusted circles, found by those already doing the work.

Now, it’s expanding virtually and in community spaces around the Chicagoland area. Typically held in-person, Raven’s Table is calling forward those who crave the connection and magic of a modern day coven, the nourishment of eating a meal paired with meaningful conversation, and the kind of soul work that makes you feel less alone in your becoming.

Each table, we gather around the lessons of a different tarot archetype, allowing community, shadow, and soul medicine to unfold together. Because being witnessed in our shadows is how we dissolve the lie that our struggles are isolated—and reclaim our humanity, together.

A Return to What Makes Us Human

I didn’t create Raven’s Table because I thought the world needed another dinner party.

I created it because we are starving for places where we can actually be human again.

We are living in a time where everything is accelerated, optimized, performative. We’ve learned how to curate ourselves, regulate ourselves, present ourselves—but not how to sit across from another person and tell the truth about what’s real. Not how to feel without rushing it away. Not how to be witnessed without fixing, saving, or shrinking.

Raven’s Table exists because I believe something sacred happens when we slow down long enough to eat together, to look each other in the eye, to speak the things we’ve been taught to keep hidden. This isn’t just about connection. It’s about disrupting the generations of patterns that are quietly destroying us.

At this table, we reclaim what it means to be in a coven.
We practice telling our truth without punishment.
We practice feeling our full humanity without shame.
We practice being seen without fear.

This is how lineages heal.
Not in theory. Not in isolation.
But in relationship.

In a room where you’re accepted simply because you exist.
Because you’re made of the same stardust that magic comes from.

I created Raven’s Table because I refuse to let my children inherit more pain and suffering.

I’ll see you across the dinner table.

xoxo,
Raven

What to Expect

  • Raven’s Table is a slow, intentional gathering designed to take you out of urgency and into presence. by Gabriela Starr, known in her facilitator work as The Raven, each experience is guided by the wisdom and soul medicine of a specific tarot archetype. You can expect a return to a modern-day-coven— a space of ritual, reverence, and real connection. When tables are in-person, they may be longer than 2 hours.

  • Food and drink are often woven into the Raven’s Table experience, though the format varies from gathering to gathering. Some tables feature a shared meal, others cocktails, tastings, or small bites, and virtual tables may include a recommended pairing to enjoy from home.

Whatever form it takes, the intention remains the same: to slow down, savor, and gather in meaningful connection. Please refer to each table's event page for specific details.

  • Come as you are—and, most importantly, come in something that helps you feel comfortable, confident, and fully yourself.

Some guests enjoy leaning into the magic of Raven's Table through clothing, accessories, makeup, or other forms of self-expression. Occasionally, a table may include an optional theme, color palette, or archetypal inspiration to deepen the experience. Think of it as an invitation to play rather than a requirement to follow.

There is no right way to show up. Whether you're dressed for ritual with a flower crown, wrapped in your favorite sweater, or joining us in whatever helps you feel most at ease, you belong at the table.

  • These agreements are the unseen architecture of Raven’s Table. They exist to create a container where truth can surface without pressure, stories can be shared without extraction, and connection can form without harm. Shadow work asks for honesty, presence, and care—and that kind of depth requires shared responsibility. These agreements help us slow down, listen with intention, and remain in relationship with ourselves and one another, even when things feel tender or complex.

You’ll receive the full set of agreements by email in the days leading up to the gathering, and we’ll review them together at the table as part of crossing the threshold into our shared space.

I do not tolerate intentional harm.

“Your unlived power exists in your shadow.”

About gabriela starr

Raven’s Table is hosted by Gabriela Starr, known in their transformative work as The Raven — a disruptor of intergenerational and societal patterns that keep us small, silent, or severed from ourselves. With 15+ years of experience in trauma-informed facilitation, somatic attachment practice, inner child healing, rage alchemy, and archetypal shadow integration, Gabriela weaves the psychological with the mystical, the ancestral with the embodied, the human nervous system with the sacred. Tarot is one of the guiding practices she uses to help individuals and groups access deeper reflection, pattern recognition, and embodied truth.

“Shadow work isn’t about fixing what’s broken — it’s about meeting the parts of you that learned to hide and letting them breathe again. Your shadow is not your flaw. It’s your unlived power.” Gabriela Starr, Raven

What others are saying

My very first Raven’s Table was so powerfully witchy. I was able to tap into my intuitive self with support of the other attendees and through Gabi’s wise and sacred guidance. Gabi’s facilitation of the night was flawless. The environment was delightfully detailed in inviting curiosity into the unknown.

The tarot readings were unique to each individual and special to the whole group processing together. The Mother/Queen of Wands has resonated for me ever since the Raven’s Table and has been a catalyst for me in finding my unyielding feminine power.”
