This is somatic rage coaching for moms who are ready to stop just talking about breaking cycles and start practicing what it takes to break them when real life gets fucking hard.
Let’s be clear: This isn’t about good moms versus bad moms. And I’m not telling moms to get angrier (believe me, we have enough to be angry about). I’m challenging a culture that expects mothers to be endlessly patient, accommodating, grateful, and self-sacrificing—at the expense of their own humanity.
Because when we reclaim our right to be whole fucking humans, we don’t just disrupt the cycles we’ve inherited. We change what’s possible for the generations we’re raising.
This is somatic rage coaching for moms who are ready to stop just talking about breaking cycles and start practicing what it takes to break them when real life gets fucking hard.
Many mothers are doing the work of understanding their triggers, recognizing their patterns, and learning new ways to relate to their anger. But understanding something intellectually doesn’t necessarily mean we can access that awareness when we’re activated.
It’s one thing to explore anger in a facilitated experience. It’s another to navigate it when your child is melting down, your partner isn’t showing up, your boundaries are being challenged, or you’re overwhelmed by everything you’re carrying.
This container is designed to bridge that gap.
Over six sessions, an intimate group of up to 10 moms will build relationships within a consistent group where they can bring real situations from their lives into somatic rage coaching.
Rather than following a predetermined curriculum, the participants’ actual experiences become the material we work with.
The focus is on integrating anger work into relationships, parenting, conflict, boundaries, communication, and the everyday challenges of motherhood.
You already know a lot about the mom you want to be. This is where we practice accessing that knowledge when real life gets fucking hard.
Get better at noticing your body's signals of activation and experimenting with what supports you before you reach your breaking point.
Explore the needs, boundaries, grief, and longings underneath your reactions—without making your anger the enemy.
Practice expressing what you need, navigating disappointment, and finding choices beyond swallowing it or exploding.
Recognize inherited responses, practice something different, and find your way back to connection without getting swallowed by shame.
You won't leave with a script for being a “better mom.” You'll have practiced ways to relate to your anger, your needs, and your people—with more awareness, choice, and room to be a whole fucking human.
Ready to practice something different?
Registration closes Monday, November 23, 2026 · An intimate container of up to 10 momsThe opening session focuses on connection, establishing trust, community agreements, and getting to know one another beyond surface-level introductions. Participants will explore their relationships with anger, identify what they’re navigating in their lives, and learn how the coaching and witnessing process works.
Each session features two mothers receiving approximately 30 minutes of individualized coaching around a real-life situation or challenge.
Every participant receives one dedicated coaching opportunity during the program.
The remaining mothers participate through witnessing, somatic reflection, and integration. The intention is that everyone learns and practices throughout all six sessions—not only when they’re being coached.
This isn’t one coaching moment and five nights of watching. It’s nine hours of facilitated group work: somatic exploration, reflection, witnessing, and practice. What unfolds for another mother can illuminate something in your own life, too.
Meeting every other week gives participants time to apply what emerges in coaching to their everyday lives.
A private group space provides opportunities to share reflections, challenges, and wins, with light-touch facilitation support and clear boundaries.
No predetermined curriculum. Bring the real-life situations you’re navigating; we’ll work with what matters to the mothers in the room.
Understand what your anger is communicating and practice navigating the moments when everything feels like too much.
Work with difficult relationships, invisible labor, people-pleasing, and the needs you’ve learned to put last.
Recognize the protective responses and inherited patterns that show up in your parenting, and practice creating more room for choice.
Explore how to take responsibility, reconnect, and repair after hard moments without getting swallowed by guilt or shame.
The same small group of up to 10 moms meets throughout the experience, creating space for trust, connection, and deeper work.
We work with the real situations mothers bring into the room, rather than following predetermined lessons.
We move beyond understanding our patterns to noticing what’s happening in our bodies and practicing different responses.
You learn through your own coaching, the experiences of other mothers, and practicing what emerges between sessions.
This isn’t about teaching mothers how to stop being angry or become endlessly calm, patient, and regulated.
It’s about helping mothers develop a more trusting relationship with their anger, understand what it’s communicating, and build the capacity to respond to challenging situations with greater awareness, choice, and agency.
The work doesn’t end when the session does. That’s where integration begins.
No. You get to choose what you share and how you participate. This is an invitation into practice, not a demand for disclosure.
Big feelings are welcome. We'll work with choice, pacing, and somatic awareness—not pressure to perform or push past your capacity.
You’ll be invited to witness, reflect, and notice what resonates in your own experience. Learning doesn't only happen when you're the person in the coaching seat.
We'll establish community agreements around privacy and respectful witnessing. As with any group, confidentiality is a shared commitment rather than something anyone can absolutely guarantee.

Hi! My name is Gabriela Starr (she/they) and I’m a somatic attachment practitioner, Rage Doula, and I’m RAGEher’s Director of Embodied Practices. I’m also a parent coach (but I almost never lead with that because it triggers the fuck out of parents). I promise I’m not going to tell you to be a better mom (fuck that shit).
So instead, I like to share that I have 15+ years experience working with children and adults who have experienced some pretty horrible tough shit in their lives (re: complex trauma) and I’ve worked for national campaigns to advance equitable legislation and policies that make this world a better place for women and families.
I’m a momma of four tiny changemakers who are everything to me AND have become the mirror for all of the things I still need to work through and rewire in my nervous system.
Join me in breaking generational cycles. It’s hard work but you’ll feel so much better on the other side.
